Gold price on December 3: Check 22k and 24k gold rate in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai

Gold prices declined by ₹650 per 10 grams in major Indian cities in early trade on Tuesday after US President-elect Donald Trump’s tariff threats drove up the US dollar.

Strong US manufacturing data also boosted the dollar, hitting gold’s appeal. Investors awaited more data for further cues about the US Fed’s future rate cuts.

The spot gold was marginally down $2,637 an ounce in early Asian trade. The metal moved in a range from $2,634 an ounce to $2,645 an ounce in overnight trade.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold prices dropped by ₹650 to ₹77,490 per 10 grams and 22K gold by ₹600 to ₹71,040 per 10 grams. The 24K Gold in Mumbai fell to ₹77,340 per 10 grams and 22K gold by ₹600 to ₹70,890 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (December 3, 2024)

Silver prices dropped by ₹500 to ₹90,900 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Tuesday following weak global trends. A firm US dollar took the shine off the white metal. Weak demand from industrial units and coin makers also weighed on local prices.

Spot Silver was flat at $30.51 an ounce in global markets. In overnight trade, the metal hit a high of $30.71 an ounce and a low of $30.49 an ounce.
