Gold and silver rate on November 11: Precious metals price fall amid strong dollar; check the latest prices in your city

Gold prices edged lower by ₹10 per 10 grams in early trade on Monday, November 11, due to weak global trends and a stronger US dollar.

Gold prices had rallied around ₹800 per 10 grams on Saturday after the US Federal Reserve’s decision to cut rates by 25 basis points reined in the US dollar. The precious metal hit $2,700 an ounce level on Friday in global markets.

However, the US dollar regained strength in early Asian trade to trade near the 105 level against a basket of six currencies, hurting the gold sentiment.

The spot gold was trading near the day’s low level at $2,671 an ounce, down 0.41%, in early Asian trade. The metal hit a high of $2,686 an ounce in overnight trade.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold prices declined by ₹10 to ₹79,500 per 10 grams and 22K gold by ₹10 at ₹72,890 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (November 11, 2024)

Silver prices declined by ₹100 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Monday due to weak local demand. Silver rallied by ₹1,100 per kg on Saturday on some demand from coin makers and fresh stimulus measures announced by China.

Spot Silver traded higher by 0.26% at $31.37 an ounce in global markets. The metal hit a low of $31. 17 and a high of ₹31.42 per ounce in overnight trade.
