Gold and silver prices on May 30: 24k Gold rate at ₹95,360 in Delhi; check the latest price in your city

Domestic gold prices declined further today to trade below the ₹95,500 level. The yellow metal is set for weekly losses as investors move away from safe-haven assets to other riskier assets like equities.

As of 12:30 pm, the 24K gold rate in the local market stood at ₹95,490 per 10 gram, down ₹460/10 gram compared to yesterday’s closing, while 22K gold was at ₹87,533 per 10 gram.

Gold prices lost ground after the Trump administration delayed its planned trade tariffs on the European Union earlier this week. As a result, investors’ risk appetite improved and smart money moved from precious metals to riskier assets like equities.

Strength in the US dollar index also put additional pressure on the yellow metal. Dollar-denominated gold becomes expensive for international buyers whenever there is a rise in the US dollar.

In New Delhi markets, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹95,360 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹87,413 per 10 gram.

Gold Price Today in Major Cities:

MCX Gold futures are also trading lower. As of 12:30 pm, the MCX Gold June future is down 0.5% at ₹95,900 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹96,068 and day low of ₹95,600. In the US markets, Gold futures for June delivery were trading 0.7% or $24 lower at $3,320 an ounce.

Silver price today in India (May 30, 2025)

Silver prices are also trading lower in the local market, replicating the fall witnessed in other precious metals. As of 12:30 pm, silver prices are around 97,620 per kg, down 0.5%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for July delivery trades 0.57% lower at ₹97,273 per kg, while international silver prices trade around $33.2 per troy ounce, down 0.6%.
