Gold and silver prices on May 14: 24k Gold rate at ₹93,550 in Mumbai; check latest price in your city

Gold prices are trading marginally lower in the domestic markets. At 12:00 pm, the 24K gold rate in the local market stood at ₹93,840 per 10 gram, down ₹230/10 gram compared to yesterday’s closing, while 22K gold was at ₹86,020 per 10 gram.

Gold rate are down for second consecutive day as investors preferred risker assets compared to bullion amid ease in the US inflation number. US consumer price index rose 0.2% in April, bringing the annual increase down to 2.3% from 2.4%.

De-escalation in the US-China trade war and geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan after both countries agreed to ceasefire improved investors confidance to move away from gold to other risker assets, leading to reduced appeal for the gold.

In New Delhi markets, the 24K gold rate stood at ₹93,380 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹85,598 per 10 gram.

MCX Gold futures trades in line with the movement witnessed in international markets. As of 12:00 pm, the MCX Gold June future is down 0.2% at ₹93,384 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹93,573 and day low of ₹93,008. In the US markets, Gold futures for June delivery were trading 0.3% or $11 lower at $3,236 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (May 14, 2025)

Silver prices are also trading lower in the local market, around ₹96,580 per kg, down 0.3%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for July delivery trades 0.3% lower at ₹96,426 per kg as of 12:00 pm, while international silver prices trade around $32.9 per troy ounce, down 0.5%.
