Gold prices advanced in early trade on Tuesday, February 25, following its overnight gains in global markets on looming trade war fears. Some demand from retailers and jewellers also supported the metal in domestic markets even as the US dollar rebounded in early Asian trade.

Geopolitical tensions after Russia launched its biggest drone attack on Ukraine despite claims to seek a resolution to the war also supported the metal price.

On February 25, 24K gold prices increased to ₹87,880 per 10 grams and 22K gold to ₹80,560 per 10 grams in domestic markets. Yesterday, the 24K gold advanced by ₹100 to ₹87,870 per 10 grams, and the 22K gold also gained ₹100 to ₹80,550 per 10 grams.

In early Asian trade on Tuesday, spot gold slipped by 0.03% to $2,953 an ounce after hitting an all-time high of $2,956 an ounce on Monday night.

Silver Price Today in India (February 25, 2025)

Silver prices also followed the same direction as gold, rising ₹100 to trade at ₹1,01,100 per kg in the early session on Tuesday, reflecting the rise in demand from industrial users. The white metal had recovered by ₹500 on Monday, following firm global trends. The US dollar rebounded in early trade on Tuesday, limiting silver’s gains. Spot silver was up by 0.18% at $32.42 an ounce in early Asian Trade on Tuesday.
