Gold and silver prices fall again, 24k gold rate near ₹93,000 per 10 gram; check latest price in your city

Domestic gold prices have declined for the fourth consecutive day this week, replicating the fall in international gold prices. At 2:00 pm, the 24K gold rate in the local market stood at ₹93,190 per 10 gram, down ₹430/10 gram compared to yesterday’s closing, while 22K gold was at ₹85,424 per 10 gram.

International gold prices are trading more than 3% lower so far this week as US and China agreed to temporarily slash trade tariffs on each other. Yellow metal is most likely to post weekly losses after touching record high levels in last few week. Trade deescalation between the U.S. and China boosted risk appetite and undermined safe haven demand for gold among investors.

As of 2:00 pm, 24K gold rate stood at ₹93,090 per 10 gram and 22K gold at ₹85,333 per 10 gram in the Mumbai markets.

Gold Price Today in Major Cities:

MCX Gold futures trade in line with the movement witnessed in international markets. As of 2:00 pm, the MCX Gold June future is down 0.2% at ₹92,970 per 10 gram, with a day high of ₹93,550 and day low of ₹92,722. In the US markets, Gold futures for June delivery were trading 0.5% or $17 lower at $3,209 an ounce.

Silver Price Today in India (May 16, 2025)

Silver prices are also trading lower in the local market, around ₹95,590 per kg, down 0.4%. Meanwhile, MCX Silver for July delivery trades 0.5% lower at ₹95,406 per kg as of 2:00 pm, while international silver prices trade around $32.3 per troy ounce, down 0.9%.
