Gold and silver price on November 5: Precious metals remain flat; check the latest prices in your city

Gold prices remained flat in major Indian cities in early trade on Tuesday, November 5, largely in line with global trends. In Mumbai and Kolkata, they were flat at ₹80,390 per 10 grams.

Gold traded in a range to stay near the five-day low level in global markets as investors remain wary and abstain from placing new bets amid the US Presidential elections.

The spot gold was trading down 0.30% at $2,728 an ounce in early Asian trade. The metal hit a high of $2,737 an ounce in overnight trade.

Silver prices ruled flat in major Indian cities in early trade on Tuesday due to weak demand from coin makers and industrial units. Silver traded at ₹96,900 per kg in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

Spot silver traded lower by 0.15% at $32.40 an ounce in global markets. The metal hit a high of $32.52 in overnight trade.
