Gold and Silver Price Today (December 26): Gold prices edge up on firm global trends

Gold prices rose by ₹20 to ₹77,460 per 10 grams in major Indian cities in early trade on Thursday in line with firm global trends. The precious metal has been trading in a range in the past few days with a positive bias amid thin trading in global markets due to trading holidays. Some local demand is supporting the metal.

Spot gold was up 0.40% at $2,627 an ounce in early Asian trade. In overnight trade, it moved between $2,623 an ounce and $2,628 an ounce.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold prices increased by ₹20 to ₹77,610 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹71,160 per 10 grams. The 24K gold in Mumbai also increased by a similar margin to ₹77,460 per 10 grams and 22K gold to ₹71,010 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (December 26, 2024)

Silver prices firmed up by ₹300 to ₹91,600 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Thursday on firm global trends.

Some demand from coin makers and industrial units also bolstered the metal.

Spot Silver was up 0.34% to $29.72 an ounce in early Asian trade. The metal hit a high of $29.75 an ounce and a low of $29.62 an ounce in overnight trade.
