Gold prices advanced in early trade on Thursday, March 27, in line with firm global trends. The precious metal rose in early Asian trading hours as US President Donald Trump’s trade policy uncertainty ahead of the April 2 deadline for reciprocal tariffs boosted its safe haven demand. The US dollar slipped in early trade which also supported its gains.
The 24K gold rose by ₹44 to ₹89,840 per 10 grams and the 22K gold to ₹82,350 per 10 grams in major Indian cities on Thursday. Gold prices had recovered by ₹110 per 10 grams on Wednesday, cutting short the four-day falling streak. In early Asian trade on Thursday, Spot Gold advanced 0.15% to $3,023 an ounce.
In Delhi markets, 24K gold traded at ₹89,990 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹82,500 per 10 grams, up by ₹10 over the last close.

Silver prices are trading flat around ₹1,02,100 per kg in early trade on a pick in offtake by industrial users and coin makers. The white metal traded almost flat in global markets but a correction in US dollar supported its rise. Silver prices had advanced by ₹1,000 to ₹1,02,000 on Wednesday. Spot silver was up 0.03% at $33.65 an ounce in early Asian trade on Thursday.

Gold prices cut short the four-day losing run on Wednesday as trade policy uncertainty boosted the safe haven demand. Positive trends helped gold post gains in early trade on Thursday.
Silver also advanced by ₹1,000 on Wednesday after trading flat in the previous two days.
