After falling for two days, silver prices remained flat at ₹1,01,000 per kg in major cities on Monday. A rebound in the US dollar and weak industrial demand weighed on the white metal. The metal had tanked ₹2,000 to ₹1,01,000 on Saturday following a ₹2,000 drop on Friday. Spot silver advanced 0.44% to $33.17 an ounce in early Asian trade on Monday.

Delhi | ₹1,00,900 |
Mumbai | ₹1,00,900 |
Chennai | ₹1,09,900 |
Kolkata | ₹1,00,900 |
Gold prices started the week on a losing note on Monday. Gold prices have retreated from record high levels in line with weak global trends amid easing geopolitical worries. A rebound in the US dollar has also reined in the non-yielding metal. However, rate cut hopes have capped losses.
Silver prices have also eased after hitting record-high levels on Thursday. Poor industrial demand and gains in the US dollar are major drag on the prices.
