Gold prices slipped to ₹86,060 per 10 grams in early trade on Monday due to weak demand from retailers and jewellers.

The precious metal traded below $2,900 an ounce in global markets, helped by easing geopolitical worries amid US-Russia peace talks. A weak dollar also assisted the metal, but trade war worries due to US President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariffs kept investors on edge.
