Gold and silver price on Dec 27: Gold rate rise for third straight day amid geopolitical concerns; check prices in your city

Gold prices rose by ₹280 to ₹77,740 per 10 grams in major Indian cities in early trade on Friday, December 27, following increased geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

However, thin trading volumes in global markets amid the Christmas holidays limited the rise in the precious metal. Spot gold was flat at $2,633 an ounce in early Asian trade. It moved between $2,627 an ounce and $ 2,634 an ounce in overnight trade.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold prices increased by ₹280 to ₹77,890 per 10 grams and 22K gold at ₹71,410 per 10 grams. The 24K Gold in Mumbai also increased by a similar margin to ₹77,740 per 10 grams, and 22K gold by ₹250 to ₹71,260 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (December 27, 2024)

Silver prices firmed up by ₹100 to ₹91,700 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Friday on firm global trends. Some demand from industrial units also supported the metal.

Spot Silver was up 0.19% to $29.85 an ounce in early Asian trade. The metal hit a high of $29.89 an ounce and a low of $29.71 an ounce in overnight trade.

Gold prices have risen for the third straight day on Friday following increased geopolitical concerns in the Middle East. However, restricted trading in view of the trading holiday period is limiting gains.

Silver prices have also strengthened for the third straight day in line with gold prices.
