No Democrat has won the White House without also winning Pennsylvania since 1948. The Republican leader can now take the White House by capturing Alaska or any remaining swing state.
Fox News has already projected Trump as the winner.
In West Palm Beach, a jubilant crowd of Trump supporters erupted in celebration as each win was announced, cheering, hugging, and tossing their red MAGA hats into the air at a packed watch party.
Addressing his supporters at the Palm Beach Convention Center, Trump promised that he would “not rest until we have delivered the strong safe and prosperous America.”
“Every single day,” Trump said, “I will be fighting for you with every breath in my body.”
Across global markets, financial analysts weighed the impact of a potential Republican sweep. “Markets were not fully prepared for a ‘red sweep,’” said Naka Matsuzawa, Chief Macro Strategist at Nomura in Tokyo.
