Vote share of BJP declined to 36.56 per cent from 37.7 per cent in 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Lok Sabha election results 2024 delivered a significant surprise, with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) securing just 292 seats and the opposition bloc INDIA winning 234 seats. The majority mark was 272 seats.

In the NDA, the BJP won 240 seats, a decline of 63 seats from the 2019 General Elections. On the other hand, the Congress won 99 seats.
