Lok Sabha Elections 2024 have concluded, and the focus now shifts to counting of votes on Tuesday, June 4. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is looking for a third term, while the opposition INDIA bloc, comprising the Congress and other parties, seeks to oust the current government.

"The counting of votes for General Election to the House of the People – 2024 and State Legislative Assemblies of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha and bye-elections to Assembly Constituencies shall be held on June 4, 2024 (Tuesday) starting 8 am," the Election Commission of India (ECI) said in a statement.

According to the Election Commission, the votes for general elections 2024 will be counted from 8 am on Tuesday. The polling for 543 parliamentary constituencies was held in seven phases: April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1.

The votes for respective assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, as well as the by-polls in other states, will be counted on Tuesday.
