As an incentive, Zomato is providing Nugget for free to companies tied to existing customer support contracts.
Online food delivery company Zomato on Monday announced the launch of Nugget, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven, no-code customer support platform designed to enhance customer service efficiency.
Developed over three years as an internal tool, Nugget currently handles over 15 million support interactions per month across Zomato, Blinkit, and Hyperpure, the company said in a regulatory filing. Zomato has now opened the platform to businesses worldwide, it added.
"Nugget helps businesses scale support effortlessly—highly customizable, low-cost, no dev team needed. No rigid workflows, just seamless automation," the company said.
Zomato said that 90% of the companies that have explored Nugget have signed up for the service. As an incentive for businesses using legacy providers, the company is offering Nugget for free for the remainder of their existing contracts.
"Nugget is the first product from Zomato Labs, our incubator for in-house innovations. More exciting launches are in the pipeline," it added.
The announcement comes days after the board of directors of Zomato approved a proposal to change the company's name to 'Eternal Limited'. The decision was taken at a board meeting held on February 6, 2025.
The approval is in line with the company’s strategy to transition to a multi-CEO structure, with its various businesses—Zomato, Blinkit, Hyperpure, and District—operating under the larger umbrella of Eternal.
Once approved, the company's corporate website will transition from zomato.com to eternal.com, and its stock ticker will change from ZOMATO to ETERNAL.
Shares of Zomato were trading in green at ₹218.83 on the NSE on Monday.
