Urban Company on Monday said its quick-service housekeeping vertical InstaHelp has crossed 50,000 daily bookings within a year of launch.

Urban Company on Monday said its quick-service housekeeping vertical InstaHelp has crossed 50,000 daily bookings in less than a year since launch.

The company said InstaHelp recorded around 51,520 bookings on Sunday, February 22, representing a peak day for the service.

Launched as a pilot in Mumbai in March 2025, InstaHelp has since scaled across select micro-markets in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and Pune.

InstaHelp offers on-demand housekeeping services such as cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and meal preparation, with professionals reaching customers within 10–15 minutes of booking.

The company noted that while the 50,000-plus figure reflects a peak day, long-term growth will depend on sustained customer retention, service quality and scaling the availability of service professionals.

“While not alike-to-like comparison, Urban Company’s India Consumer Services business reached the milestone of 50,000 bookings in a day approximately 6 years from the start of operations,” it said.

Abhiraj Singh Bhal, CEO and co-founder of Urban Company, said crossing 50,000 daily bookings underscores strong consumer demand for reliable, on-demand housekeeping services.

“We are investing to build a large, high-frequency category that deepens platform engagement and strengthens long-term growth, with results starting to become visible in terms of improving unit economics and growing repeat usage,” he said.

Shares of Urban Company declined over 4% on Monday and were trading ₹113 apiece in the afternoon.
