Jeff Bezos is world's richest person, followed by Elon Musk; check top 10 list

Jeff Bezos, Founder of Amazon and Blue Origin, has surpassed Elon Musk to become the world's richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Jeff Bezos' wealth jumped to ₹200 billion compared to Tesla and SpaceX Founder Elon Musk's $198 billion. Bernard Arnault, the Chairman and CEO of LVMH, the world's largest luxury goods company, held the third position.

Jeff Bezos founded the e-commerce platform Amazon in 1994. He also owns Blue Origin and The Washington Post. The Seattle-based company operates the Whole Foods grocery chain and provides streaming as well as cloud computing services. Amazon had reported a revenue of $574.8 billion in 2023, compared with $514 billion in 2022.
