The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Friday opened registration for its much-awaited premium apartments in Karkardooma, built under the city’s first Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) project.
DDA Towering Heights at East Delhi Hub Karkardooma Housing Scheme 2025, officially launched on October 25, offers 1,026 two-bedroom flats at Karkardooma, East Delhi, through a fully online e-auction process.
The help desk for bidder assistance was activated the same day, the DDA said in its e-auction document.
Online registration and submission of the earnest money deposit (EMD) of ₹10 lakh per flat began at 12 noon on Friday, October 31, and will remain open until 6 pm on November 21.
The last date for final submission of applications is 6 pm on November 24, while the auction schedule will be announced on November 25, the DDA said.
Demo sessions to help bidders practice the live auction process will be held between November 26 and 28, and the actual e-auction will take place from December 1 to 4, 2025, it added.
All the flats, which are in the final stages of construction, are expected to be handed over to successful bidders by July 2026.
The units are part of Delhi’s first TOD project, a mixed-use development planned around mass transit corridors to promote walkability, sustainability, and better urban mobility.
Spread across two main residential blocks, the two-bedroom flats have plinth areas ranging between 141.64 sq. metres and 171.91 sq. metres, including parking space.
The tentative reserve prices range from ₹1.79 crore to ₹2.46 crore, depending on the tower and layout type.
The DDA has reserved 15% of the flats for Scheduled Castes, 7.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 5% for persons with disabilities, and 1% each for ex-servicemen and war widows.
Successful bidders will be required to deposit 75% of the bid amount within 60 days of receiving the demand-cum-allotment letter, and the remaining 25% on completion of construction.
Persons with disabilities have been offered the option to pay on a hire-purchase basis with instalments extending up to 15 years at 10% annual interest.
All allotments will be made on a freehold basis, and ownership will be transferred after the registration of conveyance deeds.
