In a regulatory filing, the diversified conglomerate stated that the impacted IT assets had been isolated and emphasised that none of its core systems and operations were affected.
Furthermore, its customer and store operations remain untouched by the cyberattack and are up and running normally, Raymond said.
The technical team, along with a specialised group of cybersecurity experts and the management, were swift in their response and initiated necessary precautions and protocols to mitigate the impact of the incident, the company reassured.
“The company is investigating the matter and appropriate containment, and remediation actions are being taken in a controlled manner to address the incident. This is for your information and appropriate dissemination,” it said in an update to the bourses.
Shares of Raymon surged 2.87% to an intraday high of ₹1,222.50 before paring it with a loss of 2.05% at its intraday low of ₹1,164.05 apiece on the National Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
As of 2:37 pm, the stock was trading at ₹1,169.5, down 1.59%.
While the scrip has gained 2.56% since Monday, it lost 20.79% over the month. It has slumped 44.04% on a year-to-date basis.
Raymond has a total market capitalisation of ₹7,123.50 crore as of February 19, 2025, on the NSE.
