Lemon Tree Hotels signs 2 new properties with RJ Corp in Ayodhya and Guwahati

Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd on Thursday said it has signed agreements with RJ Corp Ltd to develop two new properties under its upscale “Lemon Tree Premier” brand in Ayodhya and Guwahati.

As per Development Management and License Agreements, the hotels will be developed by RJ Corp using the technical expertise of Lemon Tree Hotels, the company said in a statement.

The hotel operations will be managed by Carnation Hotels Pvt Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.

Lemon Tree Premier, Ayodhya will feature about 300 rooms along with a restaurant, banquet and meeting facilities, swimming pool, spa, and other public amenities.

The property is located about 4.5 km from Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra and around 8 km from the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Dham.

The Guwahati property, Lemon Tree Premier, Guwahati, will also have around 300 rooms and 50 serviced apartments with kitchenettes. It will include a restaurant, banquet and meeting spaces, and recreation facilities such as a swimming pool and spa.

The hotel is situated around 22 km from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and about 10 km from the city’s railway station.

Commenting on the development, Patanjali G Keswani, Executive Chairman of Lemon Tree Hotels, said, “While expanding the Lemon Tree Hotels’ portfolio substantially, these two signings align with the company’s vision of offering refreshing and comfortable stays across all destinations. The property in Guwahati will further see the company catering to a new segment of people travelling for medical tourism.”
