Jio bundles Google’s newest AI model Gemini 3 free with its 5G plan; here's how to unlock

Reliance Jio on Wednesday announced that users on its unlimited 5G plan will get free access to Google’s newest artificial intelligence model, Gemini 3, for 18 months.

In a post on X, Jio called it the “Biggest AI drop of the year,” offering the Gemini Pro plan at no additional cost.

Jio said the company has always believed that “advanced technology becomes meaningful only when it reaches every Indian, seamlessly and effortlessly.”

“With Jio in partnership with Google Gemini, we’re excited to help our users experience this new wave of intelligence in a way that feels faster, simpler, and truly made for them,” the statement said.

How to unlock the offer

Users have to registered interest for Pro plan of Google Gemini on MyJio app.

The offer can be activated through the MyJio app via a “Claim Now” banner from November 21.

Gemini 3

Google on Tuesday introduced Gemini 3, described as its most advanced AI model to date, as the tech giant doubles down on building systems that can think, plan and respond more like human assistants.

The model arrives nearly two years after Google released the first version of Gemini, launched in response to the rapid rise of OpenAI’s ChatGPT in late 2022.

Google and Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai said Gemini 3 combines the company’s progress in multimodality, reasoning and agentic capabilities, and will be delivered “at the scale of Google”.

The company said features powered by Gemini 3 will roll out first to Gemini Pro and Ultra subscribers in the United States.

Gemini 3, the third iteration of Google’s flagship AI family, is built to process and respond to text, images, audio and video, with deeper reasoning, improved multimodal understanding and more autonomous “agentic” behaviour. Google describes it as its “most intelligent” model yet, designed to grasp context and intent with fewer prompts and deliver more accurate, concise answers.
