In a post on X, the official handle of the IndiaAI Mission reminded participants that access to summit venues on February 19 would be restricted to registered delegates and invitees with valid badges.

According to a general advisory issued by the organisers, entry to the Bharat Mandapam Convention Centre will be strictly by invitation.

Invitees attending the inaugural ceremony have been asked to enter through designated gates from 6 am onwards and complete security checks no later than 7.30 am.

The seating will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Accredited media personnel will be allowed drop-off access through a separate gate till 7.30 am and again after 11 am, while invitees with vehicular passes have been directed to use specified entry points.

Golf cart services will be available for internal movement within the complex.

Following the inaugural session, participants may attend other scheduled programmes, visit the food court or the AI Impact Expo Arena.

Re-entry to plenary areas subject to local access arrangements and seat availability, the advisory said.

For self-drive visitors, limited parking has been arranged at off-site locations including Purana Qila, Zoo Parking Space and Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, from where shuttle services will operate to the main venue.

Organisers also cautioned that intermittent traffic restrictions may be experienced in and around the ITPO Pragati Maidan area during the day.

“All registered delegates, including invitees, speakers and attendees, are requested to take note of the revised access protocol and plan their arrival accordingly,” the advisory said.

Meanwhile, the exhibition segment of AI Impact Summit will remain closed for the public on Thursday, and instead be extended by a day to February 21.

“The expo will remain closed on February 19. It has been extended by a day due to huge enthusiasm. It will remain open on Saturday, February 21,” IT Secretary S. Krishnan told reporters on Wednesday.

He said around 20 heads of state, including French President Emmanuel Macron, are expected at the inaugural session.

“We don’t want any inconvenience to the public due to restrictions, that is why it has been decided to not open the expo tomorrow,” Krishnan said.

The India AI Impact Summit 2026 has brought together policymakers, industry leaders and technology innovators to discuss the future of artificial intelligence and its role in inclusive development.
