Customers can book the new VENUE by paying a token amount of ₹25,000 either at Hyundai dealerships across India or via the company’s online platform, the South Korean carmaker said in a statement.

The company described the new model as a “big SUV upgrade” designed to appeal to urban buyers seeking “more style, more comfort, and more innovation.”

How big is the upgrade?

The 2025 VENUE is 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than the previous model, measuring 3,995 mm in length, 1,800 mm in width, 1,665 mm in height, and with an extended 2,520 mm wheelbase.

The exterior features Quad Beam LED headlamps, Twin horn LED DRLs, Horizon LED tail lamps, a dark chrome grille, and bridge-type roof rails that give the SUV a bolder stance.

The sculpted lines, C-pillar garnish, and in-glass VENUE emblem add to its premium SUV character.

What’s new inside?

Hyundai has given the VENUE a significant tech and comfort overhaul. The cabin features dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays, one for infotainment and one for the instrument cluster.

The cabin comes in dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove Grey interiors with leather upholstery, ambient lighting, and a terrazzo-textured crash pad.

Comfort upgrades include rear window sunshades, two-step reclining rear seats, dual-tone leather upholstery, and a coffee-table-style centre console with ambient lighting.

The extended wheelbase and redesigned seats also offer better legroom and posture support, Hyundai said.

Under the hood

The SUV will come with three engine options (1.2-litre Kappa MPi petrol, 1.0-litre turbocharged GDi petrol, and 1.5-litre CRDi diesel) paired with manual, automatic, or dual-clutch (DCT) transmission choices.

Hyundai has also introduced a new “HX” variant nomenclature, inspired by “Hyundai Experience.”

“The Hyundai VENUE has been one of the most loved SUVs in India, with over 7 lakh customers,” said Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor India. “With the all-new VENUE, we are redefining bold design and modern premium-ness while integrating advanced technology that resonates with the aspirations of today’s new-age customers.”

The VENUE has been a key player in India’s compact SUV segment since its launch in 2019, competing against Maruti Suzuki’s Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300.

The new model will be offered in six monotone and two dual-tone colour options, including new shades such as Hazel Blue and Mystic Sapphire.
