EaseMyTrip said the initiative is designed to address congestion at airport food courts, where waiting times can extend beyond 30 minutes during busy travel periods.

Online travel platform EaseMyTrip on Wednesday announced a partnership with airport experience platform Hoi to offer complimentary pre-ordered meals to passengers departing from select airports, including Hyderabad, New Delhi and Goa.

Under the initiative, travellers booking flights through EaseMyTrip from these airports will be able to pre-select a complimentary meal by choosing the food outlet, dish and preferred pickup time, which will help reduce waiting time at airport food courts.

After flight booking, passengers will be redirected to Hoi’s platform to complete the meal selection process by providing basic flight and passenger details.

The meal will then be prepared and kept ready for pickup at the scheduled time, eliminating the need to stand in queues during peak hours.

EaseMyTrip said the initiative is designed to address congestion at airport food courts, where waiting times can extend beyond 30 minutes during busy travel periods.

“This complimentary pre-ordered meal offering, introduced in collaboration with Hoi, is designed to simplify one such moment and make the experience feel more convenient,” Rikant Pittie, co-founder and CEO of EaseMyTrip, said.

The service is currently available for departures from Indira Gandhi International Airport, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and Manohar International Airport.

EaseMyTrip said the partnership is in line with its commitment to deliver practical and thoughtful customer-first travel solutions.

Shares of EaseMyTrip were trading at around ₹7.58 apiece.

EaseMyTrip recently witnessed a rejig at the leadership level after Prashant Pitti resigned from the position of Managing Director. Founder Nishant Pitti took over as the company's CMD.

Earlier this year, Nishant Pitti resigned as CEO on account of "personal reasons", with his brother and co-founder Rikant Pittie being appointed as the new CEO at the time.
