Banks will be closed in many cities on September 29, 30 and 1 for Durga Puja celebrations.

Bank holidays in India vary from state to state, as different states celebrate different holidays. As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar, September 29 is a mandated bank holiday for Agartala, Kolkata and Guwahati for Maha Saptami, the seventh day of the Durga Puja festival, which means all banks will remain closed in Tripura, West Bengal and Assam.
