Madhya Pradesh Finance Jadish Devda told reporters that all the ongoing state government schemes will be continued in the budget for fiscal year 2024-25.

"The budget will be presented on July 3. Our focus will be on capital expenditure. All the schemes will be continued as earlier," PTI further quoted him as saying.

The Budget session of the Madhya Pradesh assembly began today. The government led by Mohan Yadav will present the state for FY25 on July 3. The session will feature 14 sittings, starting from today and ending on July 19.

Dr Girdhar Gyani, Director General, AHPI (Association of Healthcare Providers, India) told PTI, "In the upcoming term, we urge the government to prioritise a comprehensive approach to fostering a 'Healthy India'. This entails promoting preventive health measures focusing on sanitation, clean drinking water, and nutrition, alongside the rapid implementation of health and wellness Centres for preventive health education and screening."

Echoing the urgency of healthcare reforms ranging from restructuring of Ayushman Bharat Yojana (AB-PMJAY) to accelerating the digital health mission, experts and industry leaders have outlined key priorities for the Modi government in its upcoming budget, news agency PTI reported.
