Announcing the launch on social media, Eternal CEO Albinder Dhindsa said passengers can now order from a catalogue of over 2,500 products, including phone chargers, books, gifts and other travel essentials, through the Blinkit app and have them delivered within the terminal.

Orders will be delivered by a dedicated team of “walkers” operating inside the airport premises.

“This is the first airport in the world to have a service of this kind and we’re excited to deliver all the last-minute needs of our customers,” Dhindsa said.

The service is currently available at Terminal 2 (domestic departures) of the Mumbai airport, which is operated by Adani Airports.

Passengers will need to update their Blinkit app to the latest version to access the service, Dhindsa said.

Shares of Eternal jumped over 4.80% and were trading at ₹239.14 apiece at the time of writing this.

Dhindsa became group CEO at a time when Blinkit is seen as the company’s biggest growth driver.

Eternal’s Q3FY26 revenue from operations jumped 200% at ₹16,315 crore as against ₹5,450 crore in the same period last year. The sharp jump in the revenue was primarily due to 776% jump in Blinkit's revenue at ₹12,256 crore.

Soon after Q3 results were announced, Eternal founder Deepinder Goyalsaid he will step down from his role as Group CEO and Dhindsa will take over the top executive position.

"He has the DNA of a battle-hardened founder and his ability to execute far exceeds mine. He is more than capable of leading Eternal as Group CEO," Goyal had said.
