SUMMARY
In March 2025, banks across India will remain closed for at least eight days due to various holidays, including Holi and Eid. Additionally, banks will be closed on the second and fourth Saturdays.

On top of the eight festival-related holidays, all scheduled and non-scheduled banks will also remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of March.
In addition to being the last month of the financial year, March will also witness the celebration of Holi and Eid.
On Friday, March 14, banks across many regions in India will be closed to mark Holi, the festival of colours, which marks the end of winter.
Banks will also observe a holiday on Monday, March 31, on the occasion of Ramzan Eid or Eid-ul-Fitr. However, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has asked 33 agency banks to remain open to account for government transactions at the end of the financial year.
