Bank holidays in July 2025: In India, bank holidays vary from state to state, mainly due to regional and cultural diversity. While some festivals are observed throughout the country, some are celebrated only in particular regions. Every state has its own number of historical events and local observances, along with festivals, that are recognised as bank holidays. Further, all banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month.

While most banking transactions can now be carried out online these days, several things still require individuals to visit the bank in person, like big cash withdrawals, locker access, etc.

In July, there are many bank holidays, including Kharchi Puja, Guru Hargobind Ji’s Birthday and Beh Deinkhlam, among others, and various states will observe them.
