Anthropic said the capital will be deployed to expand frontier AI research, scale infrastructure and develop enterprise-focused products, particularly in coding tools.

Anthropic funding

Anthropic reported an annualised revenue run rate of $14 billion, growing more than tenfold annually over the past three years.

US artificial intelligence startup Anthropic on Thursday said that it has raised $30 billion in a Series G funding round that values the company at $380 billion post-money.

The round was led by Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC and hedge fund Coatue, with participation from D. E. Shaw Ventures, Dragoneer, Founders Fund, ICONIQ and MGX, Anthropic said in a statement.

The funding will be used to expand frontier AI research, develop new products and scale infrastructure, as the company pushes deeper into enterprise customers and coding tools.

Anthropic said its annualised run-rate revenue has reached $14 billion, growing more than tenfold each year over the past three years.

The number of customers spending more than $100,000 annually on its Claude products has risen sevenfold in the past year, while more than 500 customers now spend over $1 million a year, up from about a dozen two years ago.

Eight of the Fortune 10 companies are now Claude customers, it added.

“Claude is increasingly becoming critical to how businesses work,” Chief Financial Officer Krishna Rao said. “This fundraising reflects the incredible demand we are seeing from these customers, and we will use this investment to continue building the enterprise-grade products and models they have come to depend on.”

The company said its coding product, Claude Code, now generates more than $2.5 billion in run-rate revenue, more than doubling since the start of 2026. The enterprise customers account for over half of that total.

Anthropic also said the fundraising round includes a portion of previously announced investments from Microsoft and NVIDIA.

The startup said it remains the only frontier AI model provider available across all three major cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

“The demand we are seeing from enterprises and developers reflects the trust they place in Claude for the work that matters most. As AI moves toward scaled implementation, we will continue to build the models, products, and partnerships to lead that transition,” it added.
