SUMMARY
Air India will operate 36 additional flights to Europe and Canada between March 19 and 28, adding over 10,000 seats across routes such as London (Heathrow), Frankfurt, Zurich and Toronto to meet strong international travel demand amid disruptions in West Asia.

The move follows Air India’s earlier capacity expansion between March 10 and 18, during which it operated 78 additional flights on nine international routes.
Air India on Tuesday said it will operate 36 additional flights to Europe and Canada between March 19 and 28, as it looks to meet sustained demand for international travel amid the ongoing disruption in the West Asia region.
The additional services will be operated on Delhi-London (Heathrow), Mumbai-London (Heathrow), Delhi-Frankfurt, Delhi-Zurich, and Delhi-Toronto, the airline said in a statement.
“Together, these flights will add 10,012 seats on the five routes, further boosting capacity and providing more choice to travellers when travel options remain limited,” it added.

Meanwhile, Air India and Air India Express said no scheduled or ad hoc flights will operate to Dubai on March 17 after the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) suspended landing permissions for foreign airlines at its airports.
IndiGo also said its Dubai-bound operations are impacted following the directive.
“As per the latest update issued by Dubai Airport authorities, landing permissions for aircraft operating into DXB have been suspended until further notice in view of the prevailing situation in the region,” the airline said in a travel advisory on X.
“Customers travelling to/from Dubai are requested to check their flight status… We continue to monitor the developments closely,” it added.
