An X post by Aadhaar @UIDAI said, “UIDAI is encouraging individuals to upload POA and POI documents online to revalidate Aadhaar, which is free on the My Aadhaar portal until 14 JUNE 2027.”

If demographic details (name, date of birth, etc.) need to be changed, the individual can visit an Aadhaar center. In such cases, standard fees will apply, added the post.

The move will help those Aadhaar card holders who might have registered long back and have outdated address, identity documents etc. linked to their Aadhaar.
