Parle Products, a leading biscuits and confectionery manufacturer in India, is looking to tap the primary market to raise more than $1 billion (over ₹9,530 crore) via an initial public offering, Moneycontrol reported, citing multiple industry sources.

The iconic brand could go to the floors next year. Although the discussions are in an early stage, Parle Products is looking at a valuation of over ₹1 lakh crore, the report quoted a source as saying.

However, the final issue size and valuation would depend on market conditions.

The company has picked Kotak Mahindra Capital, HSBC Securities and Axis Capital as advisors for the IPO, another source told Moneycontrol.
When asked about the potential IPO, Mayank Shah, Chief Marketing Officer at Parle Products, told Moneycontrol, "We do not comment on market speculation. Currently we are focused on running and growing the business. Like any company of our scale, we keep assessing options that enable our growth."

Its peers include Britannia, ITC, Priya Gold, Anmol Industries, Perfetti, Mondelez India, Cremica and others.

According to a PTI report citing data accessed through the business intelligence platform Tofler, the operational revenue of Parle Products grew 8.5% to ₹15,568.49 crore in the financial year 2024-25. However, the profit declined 39% to ₹979.53 crore.

Its total income, which includes other income, advanced 7.32% to ₹16,190.98 crore for FY25.

According to an India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) report, the Indian biscuit, cookies and crackers market stood at ₹1.16 lakh crore (USD 13.58 billion) in 2025. With a forecast of 6.8% compound annual growth rate (CAGR), the sector is expected to reach ₹1.64 lakh crore (USD 18.87 billion) by 2030.
