Waaree Energies Q1: Key updates to know ahead of June quarter results; check concall schedule

Waaree Energies, one of the leading solar PV module manufacturers, is slated to announce its June quarter (Q1 FY27) earnings on Wednesday, July 29.

Further, the conference call for analysts/institutional investors on the June quarter earnings and the outlook will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. (IST).

  • On July 22, 2026, the company informed exchanges that Waaree Solar Americas, a wholly owned subsidiary of Waaree Energies, received an order on July 21, 2026, for the supply of 125 MW solar modules from a renowned customer that owns and manages utility-scale renewable power projects.

Under the agreement, Waaree Solar Americas will supply its high-efficiency HJT (Heterojunction Technology) solar modules to the customer.

  • On July 17, the company said that Waaree Energies received an order on July 16, 2026, for supply of 212 MW solar modules from a renowned customer that owns and manages utility-scale renewable power projects. The company added that the above order is incremental to the existing 350 MW order received from the customer, thereby increasing the total order capacity to 562 MW.

  • On July 16, Waaree Energy Storage Solutions Pvt Ltd (Waaree ESS), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, announced the commencement of its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Container Manufacturing Facility, which it believes marks a major milestone in building India's integrated energy storage manufacturing ecosystem.

This BESS Container Manufacturing facility is of 5.15 GWh - uprated from an originally planned 3.5 GWh- driven by debottlenecking of production throughput and improved energy density of battery cells.

"The facility is equipped with advanced Industry 4.0 technologies, Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), intelligent material handling, automated assembly lines, and advanced testing and quality assurance systems," it said.

"Designed for utility-scale and commercial & industrial applications, we believe the facility will deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable energy storage solutions," it added.

Waaree Energies share price trend

Waaree Energies shares were trading largely flat with a negative bias at ₹2,688.10 apiece on the NSE during the early session. The stock has declined 0.55% over the past five trading sessions and nearly 7% in the last one month.

Over the past six months, it has slipped more than 2%, while it is down over 9% on a year-to-date basis. In the past one year, the stock has fallen nearly 15%.

Nod to ₹10,000 crore fundraising via QIP

In June 2026, Waaree Energies said that it received shareholders' approval to raise up to ₹10,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares on a qualified institutional placement (QIP) basis.

On April 29, the board of the company approved raising up to ₹10,000 crore through the issuance of equity shares, non-convertible debentures, along with warrants, any other eligible securities convertible into equity shares of the company, or any combination (collectively, securities) on a qualified institutional placement (QIP).

According to a regulatory filing, the company got shareholders' approval to raise capital through a qualified institutional placement.

The shareholders also approved the appointment of Jignesh Devchandbhai Rathod as a Whole-Time Director & CEO of the company.

"...the resolutions as proposed in the postal ballot notice dated May 14, 2026, have been passed by the shareholders by remote e-voting process with requisite majority, on Saturday, June 13, 2026 (last date of remote e-voting)," it stated.

How Waaree Renewable Technologies fared in Q1 FY27

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd (WRTL), a subsidiary and key part of the Waaree Group, focusing primarily on utility-scale solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), posted a 37.7% YoY rise in consolidated profit to ₹118.97 crore during the June quarter, backed by a surge in revenues.

It had recorded a net profit of ₹86.40 crore in the year-ago period, the company said in a statement.

During the quarter, the Waaree Group company saw a 53.23% rise in revenue from operations to ₹924.25 crore from ₹603.19 crore a year ago.

As of June, the company's consolidated unexecuted order book stood at over ₹5,300 crore.
