TCS dividend: The board of directors of information technology (IT) services major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Thursday, October 8, declared the company’s second interim dividend for the 2026-27 financial year (FY27), along with its earnings for the April-June quarter of FY27 (Q2 FY27).

According to a regulatory filing, the firm’s board of directors declared its second interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share of ₹1 each.

Furthermore, the board of directors also fixed Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as the record date for the dividend, the filing read.

The second interim dividend, TCS said, will be paid on Friday, October 30, 2026, to the eligible equity shareholders of the company.

TCS Q2 results

The company reported a 14.98% year-on-year (YoY) jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹13,884 crore in Q2 FY27, compared with ₹12,075 crore in the same period last year. Sequentially, profit rose 4.01% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).

Its consolidated revenue from operations surged 11.23% YoY to ₹73,118 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹65,799 crore in the second quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year. It jumped 1.26% QoQ.

TCS’s annualised artificial intelligence revenue stood at $3.1 billion in the September quarter of FY27, crossing 10% of revenue.

TCS stock performance

Shares of TCS closed 0.21% lower at ₹2,076 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday, October 8. However, the results and dividend were declared after the market closed.

The scrip has lost 8% over the month and 36% on a year-to-date (YTD) basis. While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹3,350 per equity share on February 3, 2026, it touched a year’s low of ₹1,976.80 apiece on July 1, 2026.

Tata Consultancy Services has a total market capitalisation of ₹7.51 lakh crore as of October 8, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
