In the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year, the company had logged a profit of ₹164.74 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

Its consolidated revenue from operations grew 40.4% YoY to ₹3,361.27 crore during the quarter under review, compared with ₹2,393.87 crore in the second quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q2 FY26).

Its sales volume advanced by 19% YoY to 184455 million tonnes (MT) in the second quarter of FY26, as against 154431 MT in the same period last year.

At an operational level, Supreme Industries’ EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), also known as operating profit, stood at ₹460.61 crore for the reporting period, marking a 47.50% YoY jump from ₹312.27 crore in the September quarter of FY26.

Key highlights

The company said the operating environment in Q2 FY27 showed “encouraging signs” of stabilisation after the unusual volatility witnessed in polymer prices in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

“Although the prevailing geopolitical situation in West Asia has its own impact on polymer price volatility, measures taken by the Government, including implementation of Minimum Import Price (MIP) on Suspension Grade PVC Resin and withdrawal of customs duty exemption, have supported the market environment towards reduced volatility,” said M. P. Taparia, Chairman & Managing Director of Supreme Industries.

Taparia added that the company’s plastic piping business has continued to strengthen its market leadership through an expanding portfolio of value-added products, enhanced manufacturing capabilities, and deeper market penetration.

The successful integration of the former Wavin business and access to advanced technologies have enabled the firm to offer differentiated solutions for building and infrastructure applications, it said, adding that the company remains focused on increasing the share of value-added products, including PERT piping systems, gas piping systems, electrofusion fittings, premium range of bath fittings, individual valves, and PP silent pipe systems.

“The company had a growth of about 2% in volume during the first half of the year over the corresponding period of the previous year in the plastic piping division. In such an uncertain geopolitical situation, a precise growth forecast is not feasible, but encouraged by about 24% volume growth achieved in the second quarter, the company aims to continue the momentum and achieve better growth in the full year,” it stated.

The firm’s newly launched uPVC Windows & Doors business received encouraging acceptance in the marketplace, it said, adding that the business has been steadily expanding its dealer network and is expected to emerge as an important growth driver in the building products segment over the next couple of years.

Its composite cylinder business has been witnessing gradual improvement in capacity utilisation, with procurement activities now initiated by all three Oil Marketing Companies. “The division continues to explore various export markets and is also expanding its participation in CNG cascade applications, creating additional avenues for growth,” it stated.

“The Industrial Component, Material Handling and Packaging Product segment businesses continue to perform satisfactorily. The introduction of PP Bubble Guard Sheets and sustained focus on customised solutions are helping widen application areas and enhance customer engagement. The Company's consumer products portfolio continues to struggle for growth amid high volatility of base polymer prices,” Taparia added.

Looking ahead, Taparia further stated that the firm expects to grow about 10% in volume for FY27, despite big degrowth in Q1 FY27,

“Diversified product portfolio, strong brand, extensive distribution network and continued focus on operational excellence will enable the Company to deliver sustainable long-term growth,” he added.

Dividend declared

The board of directors of Supreme Industries also approved an interim dividend of ₹12 per equity share with a face value of ₹2 each, at 6%, for FY27.

The board fixed Friday, October 30, 2026, as the record date for the same.

Supreme Industries has a total market capitalisation of ₹41,292.62 crore as of October 26, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
