RIL Q4 results: Jio Platforms revenue jumps 12.4% to ₹45,946 crore; ARPU rises to ₹214 per user

At the consolidated level, Reliance Industries posted a weak set of numbers with a nearly 8% drop in the net profit. The weakness was largely attributable to poor operating performance in the O2C business. However, the Jio platform's business recorded strong growth across the board. The Digital Services business EBITDA jumped 16% YoY.

Reliance Industries announced its Q4FY26 results on Friday evening, the company’s consolidated net profit for the quarter fell 8% YoY to ₹20,616 crore as compared to ₹22,434 crore. The consolidated revenue from operations jumped 12.8% YoY to ₹2,98,621 crore as compared to ₹264,573 crore in the year-ago period. However, a more than 20% jump in the cost of raw materials led to a sharp drop in operating profit for the quarter. The operating margins for the quarter stood at 9% vs 10.5% in the same period last year.

The sharp drop in consolidated operating performance is largely attributable to weak O2C business margins. The Oil to Chemicals segment’s EBITDA for the quarter fell to ₹14,520 crore as against ₹15,080 crore.

Reliance Jio Q4 results

The digital services business (Jio Platforms) earnings posted robust all round improvement during the quarter. The Jio Platform’s revenue for the quarter jumped more than 12% YoY to ₹45,946 crore as compared to ₹40,861 crore in the same period last year.

The Jio Platform’s EBITDA for the quarter jumped nearly 16% YoY to ₹20,041 crore as compared to ₹17,278 crore. The EBITDA margin for the quarter also expanded from 50.4% to 52.4% on a consolidated basis, driven by strong subscriber growth and higher ARPU Consequently, the ARPU (average revenue per user) stood at ₹214 per user as compared to ₹206 per user in Q4FY25.

Q4 and FY26 key highlights

The total subscriber base for the quarter rose by 9 million to 524 million, up by 7% YoY. Similarly, the company added over 36 million new users during FY26.

Sustained double-digit revenue growth driven by organic ARPU growth with improving subscriber mix in mobility, scale-up of home connects and growth in digital services.

In terms of data consumption, per capita data consumption per month stood at 42.3 GB from 33.6 GB in the same period last year.

For FY26, the total revenue from operations jumped 14.6% YoY to ₹146,885 crore. The FY26 EBITD jumped 18.8% YoY to ₹76,255 crore with an EBITDA margin of 51.9%, up 190bps

Depreciation increase led by higher network utilisation and addition to the gross block.
