At an operational level, its EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation), also known as operating profit, stood at ₹701 crore in Q2 FY27, registering a 28% YoY growth from ₹548 crore in the year-ago period.

The company delivered balanced growth across volume and value, mass and premium segments, with record-high offline television market share, LG Electronics said in its earnings release.
Commenting on the earnings, Hong Ju Jeon, Managing Director, LGE India Limited, said, “We are proud to announce our second consecutive strong quarter results, culminating in a robust H1FY27. This performance reflects the broader strength of India’s consumer durables industry, which continues to benefit from rising disposable incomes, growing aspiration for premium products and deepening penetration across metro and emerging markets.”
He further stated that as LGE India completes its first year as a listed company, this performance reflects the trust its shareholders have placed in it and its “commitment to creating long-term value for them”.
Jeon added that moving beyond consumer electronics, the firm is expanding its footprint in the rapidly evolving business-to-business (B2B) sector by entering a new B2B vertical, vehicle solutions.
“Our foundational three-pillar strategy—Make-in-India, Make-for-India, and Make-India-Global—will continue driving our ambitious growth trajectory across domestic and export markets,” he said.
Its strong double-digit momentum ran across major categories, with washing machines, refrigerators and room air conditioners leading the charge, while dishwashers delivered breakout growth.
“The company's two-track strategy delivered growth across both mass and premium segments, and the expanding LG Essential Series range, together with the newly launched Chest Freezers and French Door Refrigerators, further widened its reach, strengthening market leadership across key categories,” it said.
The B2B information display business delivered strong growth, adding further depth to the segment's growth engines.
LG Electronics said that the festive and wedding season is expected to drive strong consumption across categories in Q3 FY27, with consumer preference increasingly shifting toward premium, energy-efficient and larger-capacity appliances.
While commodity and currency trends remain key, overall industry sentiment remains positive heading into the peak demand season.
The company stated that the H&A segment is well-positioned to capitalise on festive demand, with Go-to-Market investments made during the quarter ensuring channel readiness across key markets.
It further added that its premium categories such as French Door Refrigerators and Dishwashers are expected to sustain their momentum, while exports and the upcoming Sri City plant compressor facility will power the next phase of growth.
Regarding the Q3 outlook for the HE segment, the firm said: “With TV market share at a record high, the addition of Mini LED TVs expands our offering to a wider consumer base, complementing our strong large-screen lineup and advanced QNED and OLED technologies. Festive go-to-market investments during Q2 ensure strong channel readiness to maximize sell-out. B2B business is expected to sustain its improved profitability, adding further resilience to segment margins.”
