Meanwhile, Silver traded 0.02% lower at $66.9 per ounce in the US markets. Crude oil: Crude oil spot prices are trading higher on September 1, with Brent Futures trading around $91.8 per barrel, up 4.1%, while WTI Crude traded 1.5% higher, around $87.05. Oil prices have extended their rally after US President Donald Trump threatened further strikes against Iran after US forces struck Iranian military targets on Larak Island. Meanwhile, Iran launched missiles at US military facilities in Jordan in retaliation. These fresh escalation from two countries has raised investor concern as oil supply through Strait of Hormuz is likely to get disrupted.
