What is a multi cap fund?

A multi cap fund is a fund which invests in stocks across market capitalization. In other words, their portfolio comprises large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap stocks. They are relatively less risky as compared to a pure mid-cap or a small-cap fund and are suitable for not-so-aggressive investors.

Investment objective

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity-related securities of large-cap, mid-cap and small-cap companies. There is no assurance that the investment objective of the scheme will be realized.
