Tata Motors signs pact with DTC

Tata Motors’ commercial vehicle arm has signed an agreement with Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) for operation of 1500 electric buses in New Delhi. As part of the agreement, Tata Motors will supply, operate and maintain 12-metre long starbus EVs for a period of 12 years.

Dr. Agarwal's eyes expansion

Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital is planning to invest nearly ₹ 730 crore over the next three years to open 38 new hospitals in India and overseas markets. As per management, 35 hospitals will be opened in India and one each in Tanzania, Kenya and Nigeria. In addition, the company plans to set up 100 primary eye centres. Currently, the eye-care chain manages 135 hospitals in its network out of which 114 are in India.

India’s smartphone market to grow

India’s smartphone market is projected to grow at 10% to reach 17.5 crore  units in 2023 according to a new industry report. Migration from feature phones to smartphones along with switching from 4G to 5G devices could drive the demand. India currently has over 60 crore smartphone users.
