Lupin gets nod from USFDA
The pharma major has received the approval from the US health regulator to market a generic drug which is used to control serum phosphorus in patients with chronic kidney disease.
According to IQVIA, this drug had estimated annual sales of $51.7 million (nearly ₹400 crore) in the US. Meanwhile, shares of Lupin were down 1.8% on Friday.
Three companies to make their debuts
Shares of three companies - Supriya Lifescience, HP Adhesives and CMS Info Systems - are expected to list on the stock exchanges this week. HP Adhesives and Supriya Lifescience had received strong interest from investors.
While Supriya Lifescience was oversubscribed 72 times, HP Adhesives was oversubscribed more than 20 times. CMS Info Systems was also oversubscribed 1.9 times.
Market volatility may continue, say experts
According to the experts, the new virus variant may keep the markets volatile this week. The possibility of a fresh set of restrictions on the movement could again impact demand for products and may make investors jittery, said experts.
The markets snapped their three-day winning streak and ended 0.4% lower on Friday.
