Global oil, gas prices may rise
According to a Moody’s report, oil and liquified natural gas (LNG) prices could rise sharply as the Russia-Ukraine conflict escalates. This is expected to have an adverse impact on net energy importers like India.
However, the report also added that several Asian countries have a long-term supply contract for LNG, which could offset the impact of rising prices. Meanwhile, the Nifty Oil and Gas Index was flat yesterday.
PNC Infra soars on new orders
Shares of the infrastructure company rose 12% yesterday after it announced that it had bagged new orders worth ₹4,384 crore. The completion period for these orders is between 24 and 30 months.
Also, the company will operate these road projects for 15 years after their completion. Its order book stood at ₹12,055 crore at the end of December 2021, which is around 2 times its FY21 revenue.
Bikaji Foods International files DRHP
The leading maker of snacks and sweets has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the market regulator SEBI. The company has a portfolio of 250 products and is the largest producer of Bikaneri bhujia.
According to reports, the company is expected to raise ₹1,000 crore through the IPO route. The issue is expected to be completely an offer for sale.
