⭐LIC reports a multi-fold profit rise
Insurance behemoth LIC India posted a multi-fold rise in consolidated net profit to ₹8,334 crore for the December quarter compared to ₹234 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. Net premium income rose by 14% YoY to ₹1.12 lakh crore.
⭐ Voltas posts net loss
Domestic air conditioner maker Voltas reported a net loss of ₹110 crore for the third quarter, mainly because of provisions made for an overseas project. Meanwhile, its total revenue from operations rose by 12% to ₹2,005 crore.
⭐ Adani Total Gas chugs to double-digit growth
Adani Total Gas posted a 17% YoY rise in net profit to ₹150 crore during the December quarter. Meanwhile, its revenue from operations rose by 27% YoY to ₹1,185 crore. As per management, moderation in international gas prices and increase in domestic supply will drive increased demand in the PNG and CNG segments.
