Jio 5G plan gets a boost

Reliance Jio, telecom subsidiary of Reliance Industries which aims to build the largest 5G standalone network across India has entered into a multi-year deal with Finnish telecom equipment maker Nokia. As part of the contract, Nokia will supply equipment like high-capacity 5G antennas, which will help Jio deliver advanced 5G services.

Maharashtra Seamless Q2 revenues rise

Pipes and tubes maker Maharashtra Seamless has reported robust quarterly results. Its consolidated revenue rose by 46% YoY to ₹1,436 crore, while its net profit grew by 28.5% to ₹177 crore. The company’s board also recommended a 1:1 bonus issue for its shareholders.

Tata Coffee’s profit jumps

Tata Coffee’s consolidated revenue rose by over 30% year-on-year to ₹723 crore, while its net profit grew by 174% to ₹147 crore. Improved price realisation along with higher sales of plantation products aided the quarterly performance.
