About Barbeque Nation Hospitality
Barbeque Nation Hospitality is the owner of the Barbeque Nation (BN) chain of casual dining restaurants (CDR). It also owns the Toscano and UBQ chains of restaurants. As of 31 December 2020, it has 164 restaurants, including 147 BNs across 77 cities in India, 11 Italian restaurants and six international outlets.
The CDR market grew at a CAGR of 19% from FY15–20 and is expected to grow at 18% till FY25. The company’s revenues have grown at a CAGR of 20% from FY15–20. However, it hasn’t recorded profits during this time.
About the issue
The ₹452 crore issue comprises a fresh issue of ₹180 crore, while the rest is an offer for sale. The proceeds from the fresh issue will be used to expand the business by opening new restaurants and repaying loans.
