Infosys partners with Walmart

The IT giant announced a collaboration with US-based retailer Walmart Commerce Technologies. Through the partnership, the company plans to assist retailers in using technology solutions that simplify experiences for both customers and store employees. Meanwhile, the OI of its May futures contract surged 22% —indicating a long build-up, and the call option OI of 1260 and 1280 strikes dropped 1.2% and 8.2%, respectively.

Global power leaders Cummins Inc. and Tata Motors signed an agreement to manufacture low-to-zero emission technology products in India. Meanwhile, shares of the auto giant rose 0.5%, while the OI of its May futures contract surged 20% —indicating a long build-up.

Voltas slips on weak Q4

Shares of the Tata Group company slipped over 5% on Thursday, while the OI of its May Futures contract jumped 57%—indicating a short build-up. This comes after the company's fourth-quarter earnings missed the street estimates. The company's net profit declined 21% YoY to ₹143 crore due to provisions made for delayed collections in the international business.
