Hero MotoCorp, HPCL to set up charging infra for EVs

Hero MotoCorp and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) have joined hands to set up charging infrastructure for electric two-wheelers in India. The companies will first set up charging stations in select cities and then expand to other key markets.

SpiceJet sends pilots on leave without pay

Domestic carrier SpiceJet has asked 80 of its pilots to go on a three-month leave without pay. The move is a temporary measure to rationalise costs. The pilots who have been asked to go on leave are from the airline's Boeing and Bombardier fleet.

India’s GDP to grow over 7% in FY23

India’s chief economic advisor said that the Indian economy is expected to grow at more than 7%. He said that India's official FY23 growth forecasts have been cut from the projections made in January. Meanwhile, the central government is of the opinion that India's FY23 GDP growth will be between the RBIs estimate of 7.2% and the International Monetary Fund’s prediction of 7.4%.
