Shares of JK Cement and select cement companies closed higher on Friday, while the OI of its February futures contract fell 9.5%, indicating a short-covering. This comes after the Finance Minister on Friday said that the change in the GST rate of the cement will be decided by the GST Council. The FM added that the prices will not have an impact on the real-estate inventory.
